The Cardiac and Vascular Interventional Suites (CVIS) is a full service tertiary care department with 12 state-of-the-art invasive procedure rooms. The CVIMCU Nurses specialize in the care of post-CVICU Heart Surgery patients (CABG, multi-Valve Replacements, Aortic Dissections), both Adult and Adult Congenital including Heart Transplants, Post TAVR and Mitral Clip patients. CVIMCU Nurses also provide care for all advanced Heart Failure patients with mechanical devices (LVADs) and advanced hemodynamic monitoring such as PA catheters/Swan Ganz catheters and beginning mid-January 2022 will also care for stable Impella patients.
