These positions expand your professional practice to a system level as you collaborate with other colleagues in your specialties to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Introducing our RN Fellowship Clinical Nurse Educator Track – Fall, 2022
Is Nursing Professional Development and Education your passion and career goal? Have you always wanted to be a Nurse Educator? We are expanding the number of Clinical Nurse Educators to meet the need of educating our nurses in an increasingly complex clinical environment and to provide additional support for our newest nurses in our Nurse Residency Program.

Clinical Nurse Educators play such an important role in the Memorial Healthcare System. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you are responsible for the orientation and onboarding of your Nurse Residents, RN Fellows, experienced RN hires, and assigned unit ancillary staff. It is truly rewarding to nurture and support our nurses as they progress from novice to expert practice in their clinical environments. Your responsibilities also include competency management, ongoing education and practice updates, professional role development, interdisciplinary education collaboration, and participation in research/evidence-based practice/quality improvement.

The RN Fellowship program provides an excellent onboarding curriculum to train you for your new position, including the ANPD Transition to Practice specialty course, orientation with experienced Clinical Nurse Educators within our healthcare system, simulation center training and experience, and American Heart instructor courses. We also provide you a free ANPD specialty (NPD-BC) certification review course upon graduation from the program, tuition assistance to pursue your MSN in Nursing Education, and a $10,000 completion bonus paid in three installments over the two-year commitment.

The Clinical Nurse Educator position requires a BSN and a minimum 2 years clinical experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

RN INFECTION PREVENTIONIST

Introducing our RN Fellowship RN Infection Preventionist Track – Fall, 2022This is a wonderful position that places you – the RN Infection Preventionist – as a key leader in our healthcare system to keep our patients and employees safe from harm. As an RN Infection Preventionist, you will promote and provide high-quality patient- and family-centered care by assessing, developing, and administering infection control policies, procedures, and programs, including education of hospital personnel and consultation with the organization, CDC, and state and county health departments. These responsibilities also include compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, CMS, OSHA, and state regulations, outbreak investigation, and overall direction of the infection prevention and control program for the assigned facility.

The RN Fellowship program provides an excellent onboarding curriculum to train you for your new position, including the Fundamentals of Infection Surveillance specialty course and orientation with experienced Infection Preventionists within our healthcare system. We also provide you a free specialty (CIC) certification review course upon graduation from the program, tuition assistance to obtain your MS in Public Health, and a $10,000 completion bonus paid in three installments over the two-year commitment.

The RN Infection Preventionist position requires a BSN and at least 1 year clinical experience, and BLS certification.

RN CASE MANAGER

Introducing our RN Fellowship RN Case Manager Track – Fall, 2022RN Case Managers play such an important role in our healthcare system – supporting our patients and families throughout the continuum of care! As an RN Case Manager, you will assess, plan, implement, and monitor a comprehensive plan of care for your assigned group of patients. Collaboration is key! You will work with other members of the healthcare team to advocate for personalized treatment options that address a patient’s unique care needs, and offer education and guidance for navigating complex medical decisions. You will also serve as a liaison between patients and their insurance providers to promote quality, cost-effective care with the best patient outcomes.

The RN Fellowship program provides an excellent onboarding curriculum to train you for your new RN Case Manager position, including the Fundamentals of Case Management specialty course and orientation with experienced Case Managers within our healthcare system. We also provide you a free specialty (CCM) certification review course upon graduation from the program, tuition assistance to pursue your MS in Case Management, and a $10,000 completion bonus paid in three installments over the two-year commitment.

The RN Case Manager position requires a BSN and at least 1 year clinical experience, and BLS certification.
